How we are funded

In short

Bets GR is an information guide. We do not accept bets. Today we have no paid partnership with any betting operator.

We take no payment from operators until we are registered in the HGC register of affiliates.

If there is ever a partnership

In Greece, anyone who promotes a licence holder for pay that depends on player activity is an “affiliate” under HGC decision 509/1/2020: they need an HGC affiliate suitability licence, registration in the register of affiliates and a cooperation agreement notified to the HGC. If we ever work with a licensed operator, it will be only on those terms, and:

• Licensed operators only. We never promote an operator without an active HGC betting licence. If a licence expires, the advertisement stops automatically.
• Every paid placement is labelled. Each advertisement says “ADVERTISEMENT” and carries the mandatory frame of HGC Directive 3/2023 (21+, the regulator, the addiction-risk message, the helpline, “PLAY RESPONSIBLY”).
• Approved content only. Every text will be the one the HGC approved. No bonus promotion, no pop-ups, no casino games or slots.
• Data is not for sale. Register data, licence expiries and the address checker are the same for every operator, with or without a partnership.
• No rankings. Our lists are alphabetical. We give no stars or scores.

When a partnership starts, we will say so here.
